3. Research object: food industry branches of the Kherson region. Research subject - matter: performance efficiency of processing branches and substantiation of basic directi- ons and reserves to increase it. Theoretical grounds of effective development of agribusiness processing industry in the region are given in the thesis. Some ways to evaluate the industry efficiency in economic and social aspects have been improved. Ways and reserves of an increase in the food industry's current performance efficiency in the regi- on monograph, statistics, of economic zoning, normative, are substantiated.The study makes use of modern economic research methods: a system and structure analysis, busi- ness planning as well as market economy laws and cate- gories. Application sphere: agribusiness processing bran- ches of other administrative regions of Ukraine, Southern Ukraine in particular.
