Spivak V. Social, legal state as the factor of democratic societyforming in Ukraine.

The thesis investigates the genesis of social, legal state and civil society notion in international and national legal and political thought - in the context of contemporary world state-building processes. It points the place and role of state in the formation of democratic society in Ukraine, basing on realities of contemporary social and political life. Author arguning the need for simultaneous building of civic sociefy, social, legal state and market economy in Ukraine as important components of the same system leading to open society. The thesis highlights the importance and potential of social, legal state in assuring political, civil, social, economical, cultural human rights and in the continual development of society.
