Cholkan V. The subjective-modal forms in the structure of the sentence in the modern Ukrainian language.

Object of the investigation is presented by conjunctions as a means of expression persuasive modality in sentences with different structure. Aim of the investigation is to analyze the role of conjunctions as subjective-modal forms. Methods: semantic-syntactical and functional analysis, systematic description, elements of statistic. Practical valence of the dissertation thesis lies in the fact that the material and main results of the investigation may be used in lecture courses on Modern Ukrainian, in compiling manuals in Morphology and Syntax of Ukrainian. Conjunctions as subjective-modal forms were first described from syntactical point of view - as structural-semantic and functional of utterances.
