In the dissertation a complex theoretical analysis of the main point of the semantics of the Ukrainian wedding was made, that reflects all the ethnic pecularities of the area of its acting in the mode of life, for of its existance. The history and the modern situation of studying the Ukrainian wedding of the Slobogansky district is given in the general context of the formation and development of the ethnology and musical folk-lore. The major reasons of the origin and the development of the matrimonial traditional lawful complex are defined. The structure of the wedding tradition is considered as the complex of agreements. The scheme of the structure of the wedding traditions is made with the explanatory schemes of the structure of the different types of rituals which help to consider the traditional lawful complex of any people. The methods of the regulation of the sexual relation-ship between a man and a woman by the composing the matrimonial agreements were investigated in this paper. The aim, the d irection and the methods of composing the sacral agreements with the supernatural world are discovered. The polyfunctionality of the musical poetic texts of the wedding songs were analysed with the help of the manylayered classification. The intentional stylish modus of thinking of the wedding songs of the Kharkiv district is considered in the context of the binar opposition the magic of the first day. The analysis of the executive peculiarities of the bearers of the singing wedding tradition of the Kharkiv district is made in the meaning of their practical use.
