Didyk M. Psychologic-pedagogical Bases of the Professional Activity of Social Work Specialists in Bodies of the Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Professional activity of social workers in the departments of State Police is the object of this investigation. In the course of this investigation methods of theoretical historical analysis of philosophical, psycho-pedagogical, and social works, as well as the analysis of the existing legal basis have been applied. The research is the first serious attempt to give theoretical description to the psycho-pedagogical foundations of the professional activity of the State Police social service. This fact presents the scientific novelty of the investigation. Analysis and generalization of the results obtained in the course of the investigation lead to the introduction of methodological recommendations concerning diagnostic, corrective, consulting, and educational work with the State Police personnel. This direct application of the results is seen as a practical value of the given project.
