5-Lipoxygenase. The comparative analysis of substrate influence on 5-lipoxygenase reaction. Chromatographic, spectrofluorometric methods. The analysis of kinetic parameters of 5-LO oxidation of substrates in micellar and model systems on a basis of chemically modified silicagel is carried out. It is determined, that 5-LO reaction is accompanied by formation of nonspecific products of free radical reactions initiated by the enzyme. It is shown that carboxyl group of PUFAs forms negative charge of required density and is necessary for correct orientation of substrate at the active enzyme centre.
