Thesis is dedicated to a research into formation of nihilism in western European tradition from the Ancient times until XX century. Thesis develops a project of philosophical, anthropological, social and cultural understanding of nihilism as doctrine, that compensates one-sided consideration of life as positive presence of a human in the world beyond its alternatives, characterized by unity of 'being' and 'nothingness'.
