. The object of the study are 117 patients with different clinical forms of ischemic heart disease (IHD), particulary with stable and unstable angina and non-Q myocardial infarction. The aim is to improve an efficacy of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) treatment due to correction of its pathogenetic mechanisms such as endothelium dysfunction and inflamatory factors. The methods include immunoenzyme and radioimmuno assays, electrocardiography and echocardiography. ACS is shown to be accompanied by activation of nonspecific inflamatory reac-tions leading to the further deterioration of endothelium dys-function and disorders in platelet and coagulation haemostasis. Additional administration of ketotifen resulted in enhancement of potential anti-inflammatory effect of basic therapy in ACS and contribution of normalization of endothelium functional state. Degree of introduc-tion: the results were introduced into the work of the medi-cal institutions. Field of application: cardiology, therapy.
