Essay

The thesis is devoted to the research of content peculiarities of U.Samchuk's novels "Moroziv Khutir", "Darkness", "Escape from myself". Their main feature appears to be an elected type narration that belongs to so - called editorial competence which supposes direct author's presence on all content levels of the novel. The result of the above - mentioned presence has become a variety of prose writing where description prevails over representation and the idea being said about the hero - over the hero himself as he was a colourfull artistic character. The same prediction of sense along with possible changes in narration are the reasons of psichological unproveness of author's ideological facts among which for Samchuk there were those which contained thoughts about the future of Ukraine. Both Ukraine and alternative for it (imaginable but not "real") a camp socialism didn't manage to be realized in the trilogy "Ost" suitable for the readers of the XXI st century to be cognitive and at the same time vivid ly "alive". By the way that doesn't put this trilogy beyond the content of searching and discoveries of home political novel where the originality of genre and style peculiarities are gradually vanished.
