Serdyuk T. Clinical and hemodynamical effects of losartan and metoprolol in patients with congestive heart failure: comparative study.

The dissertation is devoted to study in comparative aspect the features of influence Losartan (L) and Metoprolol (M) on a clinical-functional condition, physical serviceability and basic hemodynamical parameters at the patients with congestive heart failure (CHF), to finding-out the changes of katecholamines daily urin, dynamics of biochemical parameters under influence of therapy L or M. First time is carried out comparison clinical and hemodynamical efficiency of combined L or M with ACE-inhibitor or without it (ACE-inhibitor). Is determined, that the connection to basic treatment CHF metoprolol, as against losartan, is accompanied by improvement of physical serviceability of the patients, authentic decrease of the size "double product" in a condition of rest. The results suggested that 8-weeks' treatment both with L or M leads to improvement of patients clinical-functional condition, reduction of heart cavities and increase of left ventricular ejection fraction. The combined treatment M with ACE -inhibitor, as against isolated using beta-blocker, renders more beneficial effect on intracardiac hemodynamical parameters. The isolated application L is accompanied, as against combination with ACE-inhibitor, improvement hemodynamic of maintenance of physical serviceability.
