The paper presents the results of evaluating orchards on the new vegetative rootstocks and weakly-growing interstems bred at the Michurin State Agrarian University as well as on the rootstocks M 9 and MM 106 under the conditions of the Ukraine's Northern Lisosteppe. The author studied the influence of the orchard types and clonal rootstocks on the trees growth, frost-resistance, leaf surface, its photosynthetic activity and phytomass structure, crowns lighting, the root system distribution and the peculiarities of mineral fertilizing, water regime of orchards and water state in leaves, yield and fruit quality. Besides, the economic and energetic appreciation of the orchards have been presented. The best orchards types have been introduced in the production.
