The thesis is dedicated to the theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of a system of individual work on technical drawing of the students of higher pedagogical educational institutions, which is aimed on perfection of their graphic education. The designed system of students' individual work is based on didactically substantiated complex of graphic tasks. The classification of graphic tasks was worked out. The organization of students' individual work on technical drawing is based on these tasks. Criteria and indices of levels of forming of graphic knowledge and skills are fixed. The influence of students' individual work in technical drawing on results of their graphic education is determined.
