Tsymbal N. Formation of Ukrainian organic chemistry terminology in the 90s of the 20th century.

The thesis is dedicated to the study of systematic and structural organization of modern Ukrainian terminology in the sphere of organic chemistry. The investigation has been carried out on the basis of texts and dictionaries on Ukrainian organic chemistry terminology. In the work the conceptual field of organic chemistry terminology and the means of its representation are determined. The peculiarities of nomination of organic chemistry scientific notions are explained. The tendencies of using term-forming means and methods are cleared up. The state of organic chemistry terminology from a viewpoint of lexical paradigmatics (synonymy, antonymy, etc.) at the present stage of the development of the term system is studied.
