Investigation of the osmotic properties and geometric parameters of the porcine oocytes and ova. The coefficients of cytoplasm membrane permeability to water and cryoprotectant were calculated. Also the energy of activation of water transport through cell membranes was determined. The analysis of oocyte dehydration was carried out at slow freezing. It was established that the osmotic reaction of pig oocytes and ova in various hypertonic solutions was similar to those for other mammal species, hence, osmotic parameters can not a cause of the raised sensitivity to action of low temperatures. The method of vitrification without using of equalibration solution was proposed for cryopreservation of pig oocytes.
