Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of the role and functions of nature motifs and images in the art system of the Russian Sembolism. For the first time the dissertation observes the system of images and motifs of nature lyrics in the literary of K.Balmont and A.Blok. The phenomenon is studied within the framework of some of their works and cycles as well as from the aspect of the ideological and artistic development of the two poets. It's the first time some specific features of the poetic manner of nature poets K.Balmont and A.Blok have been considered in close correlation with innovative research in other arts of the "Silver Age" of Russian Culture.
