Salij K. Orthodox-church factor in political processes of the Hetmannshyna a period

Object of research: secular of the Orthodox clergy of the Kyiv archdiocese of the Hetmannshyna age. Objective of research: study of the place and role of the Orthodox clergy factor in the political processes of the Hetmannshyna age. Results and novelty: for the first time in the studies the Orthodox clergy factor in the political processes of the Hetmannshyna age has been studies; the study testified to the fact that a pro-Moscow group within the Ukrainian Orthodox clergy encouraged pro-Russian orintations among the Ukrainian public elite and society; possible directions of establishment of relationship between the state power of Ukraine and Orthodox churches have been formulated. Area of application: in the generalised writings on political history of Ukraine, university disciplines, practical activity of the institutions of state power.
