Chepelyuk Y. Composition of an Architectural Environment as an Expression of "integral"-"single"

The subject of this research is the composition of the architectural environment. The aim is to bring to light the principles of conversion of the multiple divided environments into a single whole. The theoretical empirical and deductive approaches have been used. The developed theoretical basis of the harmonization mechanism of composition in the human perception and possibilities of the architectural design have been developed. For the first time we have analysed and revealed the mechanism of transition from visual perception of the architectural shapes to metaphorical meaning of the architectural dominants. Parts of this research have been used in other design and research projects of KSAME. Results of this research are usable for education, research and design.
