the first complex investigation of the duodenal motility in patients with bleeding duodenal peptic ulcer and different variants and factors affecting duodenal motility and their influence on the onset, activity and relapse of hemorrhage. The ultrastructural alterations in the duodenal wall cells had been determined in the patients with bleeding duodenal peptic ulcer associated with duodenal motility disturbances. Author had developed and introduced the express-method of determination of tonic state of the duodenal wall. The tactics of surgical management of bleeding duodenal peptic ulcer was optimized.
