Stated results of combining value study of different inbreeding generations self-pollinated families obtained on the basis of 5 recombinants which had been chosen from the corn synthetic population Dneprovskaya 1 (C1). Shown general combining ability (GCA) effects variation and defined its nature of dispersion for self-pollinated families S2...S4 obtained on the basis of the same recombinants. Found that selection for this trait of the best families in early self-pollination generations only increases the possibility of GCA positive effects inheritance for a grain yield performance and it allows to reject the worst families at early stages
