Shevchenko V. Electroslag technology in manufacture modern forming rolls

The dissertation is devoted to research of a method ESS by liquid metal two-layer roll, influence of materials on quality of connection of metal an axle and metal of a working layer. Is shown, the method ESS LM is applicable practically for any combinations of materials used in manufacture roll. The influence on process building-up, of the basic technological parameters is investigated. The change of depth of a slag bath is established, with other things being equal, does not render essential influence on duration and beginning building-up, of preparation. The application of technology ESS LM provides high structural and chemical uniformity of metal of a working layer. In microstructure building-up, of metal practically are absent eutectic of allocation large carbide on borders of grains, characteristic for traditional ways of moulding, the uniform distribution fine carbide on all volume is observed. The technology of reception of preparations two-layer roll is developed, the principles of construction of technological process are formulated, the recommendations for industrial introduction of technology ESS LM are offered.
