Essay

The dissertation is devoted to studying of the clinical, pathophysiological and therapeutical aspects of renal function in patients with congestive heart failure. It has been determined renin-related renal function may be formed in severe congestive heart failure. The administration to these patients of enalapril has deteriorated the renal excretory function whereas the administration of losartan hasn't reduced excretion of water and electrolytes. In patients with congestive heart failure without renin-related renal function the administration of enalapril and losartan has caused the moderate increase of diuresis and saluresis. Metoprolol can improve the renal excretory function and reduce increased salt appetite. The results of the study have been implemented into practical work of the clinical hospitals.
