Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problems of an early diagnosis of vegetative dystonia syndrome and substantion of pathogenetic approach to the treatment by means of acupuncturereflexotherapy. The use of day monitoring of arterial pressure and cardiac rhythm variability has been shown to be informative for diagnosing vegetative dystonia syndrome. It has been demonstrated that the methods of day monitoring of cardiac rhythm and arterial pressure enable to assess the degree of vegetative regulation disturbances and to differentiate vegetative dystonia syndrome with vegetative crises and without them. It has been shown that revealed natural phenomena of a number arterial pressure allow to prognosticate the development of vegetative dystonia syndrome. Acupuncture diagnosis according to Nakatani has been shown to be informative criterion for identifying meridians in patients with vegetative dystonia syndrome. The use of acupuncturereflexotherapy for correction of vegetative balance in vegetative dysfunction has been shown to increase treatment efficacy considerably.
