Novikov O. Optimization of the management program in patients with bleeding gastroduodenal ulcers

Pathophysiological and morphological changes in animals organism occuring in acute blood loss of a mild severity and in surgical intervention on the stomach and duodenum have been studied in the experiment on 47 dogs. On evidence from the experiment, perftoran improves gas transport functions of the blood, eliminates tissue hypoxia, microcirculation disturbances in the tissues affected, stimulates immunity, imparts physiological character to the course of reparative process. These properties of the plasma substitute allow to recommend it not only as a component of ITT but as a means of prophylaxis of postoperative purulent septic complications in patients with acute gastroduodenal bleeding of ulcer etiology.
