Essay

The dissertation presents investigation of a nuclear microprobe forming system on the base of magnetic quadrupole lens doublet. The developed numerical code allowes to calculate ion trajectories in the system and to determine such aberrations as chromatic, spherical, fringing field and parasitic ones connected with defects of manufacturing and assembling of lenses, and alignment of the lens system. On the base of the performed investigations the nuclear microprobe was designed and manufactured. It allows to obtain a beam of 3i5 мkm on target, 4nA current at 2.4 MeV proton energy. By means of the microprobe the concentration profiles of mains and impurities elements were measured in high-temperature coatings: Сr, W-Ta, W-Ta-C, MoSi2(Cr).
