3. The modern tendencies in the reproduction of army as a social institution and its officer specialists were analysed during social reforms. The paper presents an analysis of military reforms and their connection with the social reforms. The military education system reform in Ukraine, its structure and containing component were analysed. Some practical recommendations were suggested to increase the effectiveness of military education as the main factor in the reproduction of the Ukrainian army and they can be used in practice to enhance the policy of the state in the sphere of military education.
