Pf.D thesis is devoted to problem of efficienty treatment of patients who have the syphilis active forms by antibiotics of the penicillin family and the assessment of the most rational therapy approaches on the basis of clinical serological tests, inspection of the iron level, proces- ses peroxide oxidation and of lipid the state of antioxidant system. Some clinical features of the early manifest syphilis development have been determined at the present stage. Failures in the iron and metallic-proteide exchange of 60,7% of the patients were exposed in cases of hypoferremy, decrease of the transport and increase of the spare iron, and aggravated as the syphilis infection made progress. The imbalance in the process of lipid peroxide oxidation and the anti-oxidant system of 76,6% of the patients was designated by accumulation of the lipid-peroxide oxidation products at the simulta- neous decrease of the anti-oxidant protection, especialli in a non- enzymatic group. The best clinical laboratory result s were found with patients, who got the benzatin-benzil-penicillin treatment, and the results of the patients who received the water-dilutable penicillin therapy insignificantly varied from them.
