Essay

On the basis of retro- and prospective comparative analysis of the nearest and distant results of 200 open and 200 laparoscopic hysterectomies was proved, that laparoscopic hysterectomy can be considered the method of choice, it is accompanied by lesser number of complications and more positive dynamics of psychoemotional condition of patients in postoperative period. The determined clinical criteria for open hysterectomy are: the uterus size 14 week and more, the presens of advanced abdominal adhesion process and ventral hernia. The new method of laparoscopic transvaginal hysterectomy was worked out. It was worked out the algorythm of the differential usage of laparoscopic and open hysterectomy.
