The dissertation is dedicated to elaboration of science-based methods of providing of resources economy technologies normative base in the process of clothes producing in stages of designing and preparation of fabrics for cutting. The structure of complex efficient appraisal of material capacity, directed on improvement of its normative base, is elaborated, the classification of textile fabrics loss and classification and principles of construction of technical and economical standards in the production quality management system are improved in the work. There are such methods elaborated: application of economic-mathematic methods of solving the problems of fabric loss minimi zation at microeconomic and macroeconomic levels; formalization of structure of optimum plan of men's shirts cutting, that ensures the economy of fabric and time expenses in the process of cutting map calculation; complex efficient appraisal of material capacity of clothes, that ensures shortening of terms of model producing launching and improvement of normative base of resources economy. High effectiveness of offered methods is theoretically based and confirmed in a practice.
