Sapozhnik O. Musical and aesthetic education of senior pupils (on the basis of modern popular variety music).

Problem of musical and aesthetic of schoolchildren within the process of mastering modern popular variety music is considered in the thesis, theoretical analysis of scientific literature on the investigated problem has been provided, the virtual content structural components of musical and aesthetic pupils' education has identified in the system of secondary schools (cognitive, emotional, value directed orientational, value and interpretative, creative and synthesized). The historical and theoretical aspects of Ukrainian popular variety music development are showen in the sight of art traditions of "Modern popular variety music" have been scientifically determined and terminological field of them has been outlined. The effectiveness of methods of musical and aesthetic education of senior pupils using the author's programm "The modern popular and variety music", complex of innovatory, modificatory and variable methods organizing forms of pedagogical influence has been experimentally proved. This all dev eloped the aesthetic sphere of senior pupils (aesthetic consciousness, emotional and sensitive factor and artistic creative activity). There has been proved the importance of the results achieved by the author for the further development of the music pedagogical theory and practice.
