Dissertation is devoted to the research of urgent problems of legal regulation of dwelling hiring contracts. It covers the investigation of the history of development of legislation concerning dwelling hiring contract as well as the determination of the legal nature of this contract and its essential features and analysis of certain types of contracts. The notion of the dwelling hiring contract and its types - commercial and social has been formulated. The author proposes the system of legal acts, which ought to regulate the dwelling hiring contract. The thesis also contains a thorough analysis of the content of separate types of dwelling hiring contracts. The new approach to the determination of the notion and legal nature of the dwelling hiring has been formulated. The author illuminates the types of the contracts, which may be concluded concerning hostels and makes concrete proposals on the determination of the legal status of hostels as objects of housing fund.
