Essay

The object of study: chemography effect; physical mechanism which causes surface activity of wide range of metals, semiconductors, composite structures. The aim of study: development of new methods of investigation and study an electromagnetic signal propagation in time-varying dielectric and plasma media. Methods: complexes experimental methods. Theoretical and practical results: Comprehensive analysis of physical mechanism which causes surface activity of wide range of materials. The influence of various factors on its development both in gaseous medium and liquid has been ascertained. It has been proved that activity of a solid is caused by inverted adsorption of oxygen emitted in the form of negative ions by solid surface at the initial stage of oxidation. Multifunctional method of non-destructive express test of solid surface condition has been developed on basis of the proven physical mechanism of the examined effect. The method has a wide sphere of practical application in the fields of scienceand engineering, for instance, under researching surface condition of large group of metals, semiconductors, composite structures; in metallography; in processes of planar technology; under taking a thermal photography with "memory". The area of application: test of solid surface condition.
