Object of research: activity of the agrarian enterprises and grain market of the Poltava area. The purpose of research: specification both ordering of theoretic-methodological rules and development of the practical offers directed on a complex estimation and substantiation of increase's directions to a production efficiency and functioning of the grain market in region in view of the nation-wide tendencies. Methods: monographic, statistic-economic, determined analysis, graphic, count-constructive, balance, expert estimations. Theoretical and practical results: the theoretical, methodological and practical bases of a production efficiency and formation of the grain market in region are systematized. The practical importance consists in an opportunity of application of the recommendations at system engineering of measures on increase of a production efficiency of grain cultures and improvement of the economic mechanism of the grain market's functioning. Scientific novelty: development of the circuit of the complex analysis of a production efficiency and functioning of the grain market, substantiation of a sequence of the analysis of the factors of formation of financial results, parameters of profitability and profitability in view of differentiation of expenses on variable and constant, definition of regional features of the grain market's formation, substantiation of the mechanism of an estimation of system formation of the prices on a grain and directions of its improvement. Degree of introduction: the results of research are used in educational process of the Poltava state agrarian academy, are recommended to introduction Senior management of an agriculture and foodstuffs Poltava regional state administration. Efficiency: use of results of research will assist increase of efficiency grain's cultivation, improvement of formation and functioning of the grain market.
