Object: Process of soil contamination by drilling waste in Dneprosky - Donetsk trough Aim: Development of the drilling waste rating method and establishment of the control indexes for contaminated soil around drilling sites. Methods and equipment: Theoretical calculation and model researches in laboratory and at the fields using modern chemical - analytical methods and computing machinery. Theoretical and practical results: Drilling waste rating method was developed. The method based on the determined safety end points of the drilling waste ingredients. The priority indexes and soil monitoring method at drilling sites were established. Technical approaches in drilling process safety were worked out. Newness: Safety end points of the drilling waste ingredients were examined and established. These points were used for the drilling waste rating method development. Model of the priority indexes was established.
