Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of dysfunctional family as a factor of teenagers' deviant behavior. The main family functions, ineffective realization of which leads to teenagers' deviation are analyzed. Existence of interaction between adequate realization of social functions by family and person's development is asserted. The main types of trouble family are also analyzed in terms of non fulfillment by them define social functions. The necessity of introduction of generalizing category for all these types of families - dysfunctional family - is shown. The bunch of factors, which leads to the non-realization or ineffective realization of family social function are defined. The family dysfunctions in their turn promote destabilization on both group and society levels. The author maintains that the type of family upbringing, which is characterized by value orientation, stereotypes of parents' behavior, climate of family relations is the main factor in the forming of teenagers' behavior. This statement is confined by the results of sociological research, that showed the existence of differences between prevail upbringing types used by parents of deviant and non-deviant teenagers.
