The dessertation manuscript, containing the data pertaining to clinical investigations in 112 women with postpartum endometritis who underwent hysteroscopy combined with intrauterine applications of 0,2% miramistine solution and complex treatment with antibiotics, vaginal drainage immunocorrectors and electrophoresis, is defended. The proposed complex therapy included intravenous cyprophloxacin infusions, vaginal enterosgel drainage, immunocorrector thiotriazoline and demonstrated its effectiveness. At the same the existence of interdependency between a urogenital infection, accompanied by pregnancy complications and the appearance of inflammatory processes of the fetoplacental system and postpartum purulent-septic complictions was establisced.
