Subject of research: choice of optimal chemical composition of material for restoration details which made from Hadfield steel, ways and parameters of it obtain. The purpose of research: creating of new material which produce surfacing metal with complex of special properties. Methods of research: optical and scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction analyses. Susceptibility to deformation hardening of proposed material 80Г9Х6С has investigated to value it service abilities. Wear resistance investigated on Shkoda-Savina machine. Theoretical and practical outcomes: on the base of possibility of deformation martensitic transformation in austenite manganese matrix decreasing of carbide made alloying elements has been proved. Service abilities of proposed material not aggravated. Approach to creation of deposited metal composition which works in impact-abrasive wear condition has been based. With help of proposed material exploitation firmness of rail crossings increased in 1.5 - 2 times and track casting defects more effectively eliminated. Novelty: principals of material composition choice for restoration details of Hadfield steel which works in condition of impact-abrasive wear based. Possibility of using deformation martensitic transformation as additive hardening mechanism of deposited metal proved. Limits of chemical elements contain in deposited metal in which hardening proceeds due to cold hardening and deformation martensitic transformation has been proposed. Subject and extent of application: Open Joint-Stock Company Kharkov Tractor Plant; Kharkov enterprise ''GORELECTROTRANS''. Sphere of application: Ukrainian enterprises of city electric transport, machine building plants where details from Hadfield steel produced and used.
