Essay

The dissertation is devoted to a relevant problem of dermatology, studying a role for lipid metabolic disorders in the pathogenesis of psoriasis and searching more efficacious methods for psoriasis treatment. The results are represenred of the in-depth studying of fatty-acid metabolism in both blood and cutaneous water-in-lipid mantle, in comparison with each other, in patients with various running of psoriasis. A method was proposed and pathogenetically substantiated for the psoriasis treatment, in which the basic combined therapy was supplemented with a systemic polyenzymatic drug Wobe-mugos E. The method facilitated a higher clinical efficacy of the psoriasis treatment and prolonged remission, and ensured a corrective effect on the fatty-acid profile of red blood cells.
