Rabulets' O. Integrated lexicographical systems

The theoretical, system engineering as well as algorithmic and programme foundations of the making of the integrated lexicographical systems are worked out in this thesis.The notion of lexicographical medium as a basic theoretical concept and the main construct to deal with the problems of integration of the lexicographical systems is formulated and defined. The dictionary complexes, namely, the word-declination-orthoepical, the phraseological, the synonymical, the antonymical and the explanatory ones are built up and brought about in the form of a lexicographical database. For the four former ones a model of integration is built up on the strength of which the integrated lexicographical system "Dictionaries of Ukraine" (CD-ROM). An instrumental complex to maintain a composite informational technology for the computer lexicography has been worked out. With the help of the latter some practical tasks (the automatic conversion of the text of the eleven-volume explanatory Dictionary of Ukrainian Languageto a computer database, in particular) are solved.
