Research subjects: process of reception polyploid with application antimicrotubule agents in vitro. Research objectives: to study a peculiarities of cultivation tissues and organs of nep and to obtain the new polyploid forms in conditions in vitro with application colchicin, dinitroanilin and phosphorothioamide herbicides for the purposes of breeding. Methods: classical biotechnological methods, experimental polyploidy in vitro, morphological and cytomorphological methods of selection polyploids. Theoretical and practical results: the method of receiving a new polyploid forms of plants of genus Nepeta in conditions in vitro with application phosphorothioamide and dinitroanilin herbicides. Is made it possible in some times to speed up selection process. Are received of nep polyploid form for the further selection and hybridization. Novel ty of the introduced: for the first time are developed of the polyploid forms of nep in conditions in vitro with application of antimicrotubule agents, the conditionsof cultivation of the initial and experimentally received plants are determined. The factors influencing on polyploidization of the meristematic tissues of microshoots of the researched forms Nepeta L for the first time are determined. The original method of processing explants nep by antimicrotubule substances in conditions in vitro. Implementation degree: the results of researches are included in a course of lectures on agricultural biotechnology for the students of agronomy faculty and faculty fruit-vegetable-growing and viticulture, biotechnology, readable on department of essential-oil and medicinal plants KSAU (information on introduction from December 12, 2001), and also in a rate of lectures on biotechnology for the students specializing on faculty of physiology of plants and biotechnology TNU to name Vernadskiy (information on introduction from January 8, 2002). Effectiveness: the great opportunities to open the methods biotechnology and experimental polyploidy for breeding essential-oil and medicinal plants, to give an opportunity to speed up and will facilitate selection process, and also to increase the formation of vegetative biomass. The theoretical bases of work promote increase of a level of preparation of the students. Sphere, sector of implementation: biotechnology end breeding plants.
