We are especially interested in such complicated categories as poetical idealization, mythopoetics and symbolical character of the author's prose, category of time and space setting, the explicit and the implicit in his romantic system. We first suggest interpreting the essence of Grin's idealization as the main creative principle of the author. The mythopoetical source is appreciable in Grin's prose as a whole. It is closely connected with symbolic comprehension of the world. Symbols run through the author's time and space. The setting helps to deepen character drawing, to create romantically isolated world, to make conflicts, characters and event's more expressive. In Grin's romanticism fictionis interwoven with reality. The system of authentic details and veracity of, the author's images remove any mistrust to the unusual and the conventional in the writer's prose. The above-mentioned aspects of research revealnew, still unknown facets of Grin's poetics, point out the enormous aesthetic potential of a Russian romanticist's expressive means.
