Chajkovs'ka O. Theory and Methods of Musical Training and Musical Education

On the basis of the theoretical analysis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical, and art literature, synthesis of the pedagogical experience - the methods of the formation of junior school students music knowledge by means of multimedia training techniques have been worked out and approved on the following grounds: individualization of studies; computer-based training programs conformity with junior school students creative abilities and levels of knowledge; variety in computer-based training programs application on different stages of educating process, while making an accent at theoretical, emotional and creative aspects of students activities; succession in software support of educating process at different stages of music training; creating a game surroundings within multimedia system; integration of traditional and computerized training. Within the proposed methods the authoring multimedia program "Ukrainian Music Instruments" has been worked out, approved and applied into educating and training practice, the content of which includes a historical review of coming into being and development of folk music instruments. The retrospective analysis of the informatization process within the sphere of education has been made, the scientific definition of the concept "multimedia training technique" has been proposed, the typology of computer training programs has been grounded, the role and place of music knowledge in the structure of junior school students music activities have been substantiated, as well as criteria and levels of its forming-up.
