Thesis is dedicated to the research of the transport means' lease contract. The author defines it, considers its subject and determines kinds of this contract and the reasons of their classification as well as determines the place of the transport means' lease contract in the system of civil-law contracts. The author also gives the legal characteristics of separate elements of this contract. Special attention is paid to the peculiarities of the signing and executing of the transport means' lease contract with a crew and without a crew. Responsibility of the parties is defined too. The author has revealed the deficiencies in the legal regulation system of the transport means' lease and has worked out some suggestions concerning elimination of defects and perfection of the current legislation, regulation public relations in this branch.
