Essay

Object - poly- and single crystals of superconducting intermetallic CeRu2. Goal - investigation of superconducting state peculiarities in CeRu2. Method - point contact spectroscopy. Results, novelty - Superconducting state in CeRu2 samples of different quality was investigated. Comparative analysis both for temperature and magnetic field dependences of superconducting gap was made. It was established that superconductivity in СeRu2 could be described by the BCS theory. It led to the observation of gapless superconductivity in the investigated compound, caused dy cerium impurities. The method of a pure superconductor gap resurrection was made. The obtained values of the gap and the extrapolated temperature of its disappearance were used to calculate the gap of pure СeRu2. Point contact investigations of СeRu2 in magnetic field showed the correlation between the disappearance of superconducting features on differential resistance and characteristic field Н*. At this field changes in the vortex lattice dynamics are observed in СeRu2. Experimental results and their interpretation explained the nature of superconducting state peculiarities in intermetallic СeRu2. Employment - fundamental science, novel devices.
