Stanislavs'ka K. Ways of Optimization of Teaching Elementary Theory of Music for Students of Stage Managerial Specializations

The dissertation deals with the problem of optimization of teaching elementary theory of music for students of stage managerial specializations at art universities. The condition of the issue studied in the theory and practice of modern pedagogics was analyzed, typical features of art didactics and principles of the organization of music-theoretic education of the students of stage managerial specializations were considered; some ways of optimization of teaching elementary theory of music for students of stage managerial specializations were defined; methodical principles of the use of problem-play methods and module technologies at musical-theoretical lessons with the students of stage managerial specializations were grounded; professional methods of teaching and curriculum in elementary theory of music for students of stage managerial specializations were worked out; results of introduction of the above-mentioned methods and curriculum into a teaching process of art university were generalized.
