Essay

The complex investigation carried out of 103 patients suffering from discirculatory encephalopathy of atherosclerotic, hypertonic genesis in the process of hirudotherapy reveal effectiveness and pathogenetic trend of this metod in the treatment of the disease both as a separate one and in conbination with medicines. Evaluation: original shems of hirudotherapy, criteria of hirudotherapy effectiveness and certain approaches to its differential application based on dynamics of manifestation degree of cliniconeurologic syndromes, indexes of haemocoagulation and lipoid metabolism, states of cerebral haemodynamics and bioelectrtric activity of brain have been worked out.
