Essay

The dissertation contains the results of theoretical and experimental investigation of peculiarities of the child's speech development in the process of mastering the foreign language at the early stages of ontogenesis. The potentialities have been displayed of children's early mastering the foreign language and forming psychological bilingualism. It has been proved experimentally that under the conditions of bilingualism the preschooler's speech development acquires specific peculiarities and essentially differs from that in monolingual environment. The peculiarities of the family's functioning while realizing the early teaching are revealed. It has substantiated that early teaching the foreign languge becomes a significant factor of the child's speech development under the conditions while the teaching is carried out as home education and family enters into this process as integral family system. Psychological and pedagogical methods and means of organizing home teaching the foreign language are worked out which can be used by wide parents' community in the process of organizing home teaching the foreign language for the children of early and junior preschool-age.
