The dissertation is devoted to the urgent problem of technological terms of operations of the process of automated closing of flat modules of footwear uppers, particularly to the definition of technological parameters of optimal performing of operation of automated grab of soft flat footwear uppers from the pile, including details made from air-penetrating textile materials. Module technological processes of automated closing of footwear uppers of two main kinds of military footwear with the use of the above mentioned operation have been developed.
