Concepts truth/untruth in Ukrainian literary language. The innersemantic and valent properties of the opposition truth/untruth in the structure of the abstract-semantic field were analysed. The methods used are descriptive, component, quantitative. The development of the theory of field modelling of the lexico-semantic system of the language was investigated. They can be employed in the courses of semantics, cognitive linguistics. The complex investigation of the components of the opposition truth/untruth in semasiological and functional-onomasiological aspects was carried out. The sphere of application is higher school.
