Object: patronym-related, gender-related and possessive names of the settlements that are situated to the right of the Dnipro and have Christian names in their stems. Objective: to define the peculiarities of the development of the oykonym patterns that are formed directly and indirectly from Christian names. Methods: description, historical-comparative, comparative-typological, stratygaphical. Results: the new oykonym material has been introduced for the first time; the oykonyms with Christian name in the stems have been analyzed from the point of view of their structure and semantics; the productivity of the names in definite oykonym patterns has been described.
