Zharikova O. Poetics and Aesthetics of Z.N.Hippius.

Z.N.Hippius is known as a poet, critic, prose-writer and publicist, playwright and memoirist, philosopher who worked at the beginning of the XXth century. Her works didn't meet the communist ideology. The dissertation is dedicated to analysis of philosophical and aesthetic positions of the poet, her religious views, which are reflected in peculiarities of poetics of her lyrical works. The candidate for the degree investigates the themes and motives of lyrics and distinguishes peculiarities of the artistic style of the poet. The poetic peculiarities of Hippius lie in system to which the poet's artistic world is subordinated and in stability of the artistic world in its structural features. The poet is constantly using reiterative motives and constructions of images. Systematisation of the artistic world of Z.Hippius, her devotion for the same aesthetic principles are dependent upon the poet's Christian world outlook and her religious and philosophical conception of universe. The researched materials canbe used for a deeper analysis of the development of literature in late XIX, in early XX, lectures and special seminars, in writing diploma and course papers, and also in writing textbooks.
